Joe Rogan (actor, comedian, MMA fighter turned commentator and podcaster extraordinaire) interviews Jeff Novitsky and is one of the only people I ve seen not to fawn over him (based on the first few mins at any rate)
Enjoy...

Wonder where he'd been hiding since "Fear Factor".
Welcome back Joe !!!
Evidently fear is not a factor for you.0 -
The otherwise forgettable Cycling News podcast has a good interview with Mr Michael Rodgers which is worth a listen to - http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/the-cyclingnews-podcast-exclusive-interview-with-michael-rogers/
Talks about Bertie, Sky, his own Clenbuterol positive etcWe're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Good plan ddraver!
Behind a paywall (and I know that the hosts aren't everyone's cup of tea) but the Velocast recently had a good interview with Helen Wyman and I'm halfway through the one with Roger Hammond. Both come across as great individuals doing much to grow/develop their sport.
Wyman pushing for changes to women's cross but sounds like it'll be a long slog.
Hammond used to provide accommodation for free to young wanna be pros in Belgium. Says he got enthusiastic training partners and several went onto good things including one Mr Cavendish.0 -

Nothing to do with cycling, but this started from the Joe Rogan podcast which I'd never heard of. I listened to a few since and I would highly recommend the Jon Ronson one. If you want three hours to fly by - listen to that.
I would like to see a cycling podcast in this style. Not just Joe, but Chris Hardwick's Nerdist is another example. Where it's not a typical interview, but a conversation - an equal exchange of views. I think someone like Matt Stephens, Dan Lloyd or David Millar could do it well.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Seen a few tweets now saying that the UCI have "settled" with Verbruggen over CIRC "case"
Which is flipping depressing
Nah, you need to look at it differently.
It's just a step closer to Kimbo losing in court.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -

I'm having to eat humble pie as CN have done another great podcast -http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/genevieve-jeanson-exclusive-podcast/
I'd never heard of Jeanson but she was a young girl who was coached - and doped - from 14-15 years old by someone who became an equivalent of an abusive father or boyfriend.
She was cast aside by cycling at age 25 after failing a drugs test but as you'll hear there was far more to the story than that! We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

She was cast aside by cycling at age 25 after failing a drugs test but as you'll hear there was far more to the story than that!
She infamously beat Nicole Cooke into second in some of those North American races - from her retirement statement:
"Cooke also related the story of Geneviève Jeanson, a top Canadian woman rider, who was an undetected doper and rival from the age of 16 but denied all in the style of Armstrong until admitting to her crimes in 2007. “Jeanson won while I came second,” she said.
“While I earned $80,000 (£50,000) in my best years at the peak of my career, she was making $400,000 (£250,000). Now she has ‘confessed’ and this is newsworthy. They are going to make a film and Jeanson, who cheated, will make money from others for a second time, telling the tale of how she robbed and lied. I can’t help thinking that the cheats win on the way up and the way down.”"0 -
Anyone see the unseemly twitter spat between Vaughters and Bruyneel last night? Just catching up on Sporza now."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Bruyneel's like Lance. Cant stand being out in the cold, and cries out for attention
His stuff is usually a supposed adult's equivalent of 'my dad's bigger than yours'
Sad little man0 -

Amongst all this talk about doping and science, it's worth reading a proper scientific paper (and remembering how god-awfully dull most of them are)

Erm...hmmm...Mr Rogan has the one and only Lance Armstrong on his podcast tonight. I suspect that this could be a challenging listen for a cycling fan....
I wonder have the PR people told him to swear a lot.....“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

Haven't listened but dimspace wasn't very complementary about the interview...0 -
I'm half an hour in and so far it's been Roan saying "you did nothing wrong, everyone was at it, who cares etc" and Lance going, "well no, that's not really true"

Rogan keeps saying Cyler instead of cyclist and has jus confused Lemond with the diver Greg Louganis (no idea how to spell that)
