^^ I don't care if it's aero, or super strong, or any other marketing spin... that humped stem and crazy bar alignment thing is just plain ugly.

    Graphene.

"Revolutions don’t come along that often in cycling, but Dassi, a UK bike manufacturer focusing on bike customisation, claims to have started one with the presentation of the world’s first bike frame containing graphene.

Launched yesterday from the company’s headquarters in Hartley Wintney in Hampshire, the company’s frame weighs 750g, although it claims that this could be more than halved to just 350g at some point in the future."

It begins. I was wondering how long it would be before this was made in to a frame. I wonder how it rides?

Adam Blythe's jersey. Much better the the small flag affairs we've seen on some national champs lately. Hope we're not to be treated to white shorts though :D

Specialized’s Rio 2016 bikes will change colour in the heat. Bikes and helmets will change from orange to yellow when the temperature hits 22ºC

I presume its a nod to his old nickname "The Green Bullet"?

He's got to be a big this weekend.

OT I know, but I would bloody LOVE Purito to do him over.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

They had just got those in at the Concept store where the club leaves from. Have to say they are phenominally cool. Orange when cold and yellow when hot btw.

Yeah which was my point - it's going to be above 22c the whole time surely, so they may as well have just made yellow bikes for Rio...

Quite fancy an orange bike, doesn't get above 22 much in Yorkshire.

Edit- Straight after posting it hit me: This would show any motor heat pdq in the classics

So if this Specialized bike turns yellow near the bottom bracket, it will be proof that there's a motor inside.

Wheelie Pete has got the MTB version (see the clear evidence of a motor in the top right picture)

(I'm not serious about the motor)
