What a good idea that is
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

Is this new? I'm pretty certain Dowsett wore one in the middle of last year? May have been trialling one. It's a good idea, it sucks putting pins through your expensive skin suit and it's got to be more aerodynamic too

I'd not clocked that, I'm a bit of a domane fan boy so I'll have to check it out

Sep Van Marcke was wearing some new glasses in P-N yesterday... Struggled to find a picture of them but they look full framed.

Yes, you can get a skinsuit from http://www.nopinz.com, they will also retro-fit a pocket to your own skinsuit.

Looks as if the headtube is also decoupled - interesting idea. I have never ridden a Domane - is the seat tube decoupling worth it?

I have the decoupler and the short answer is yes. Smooths out the ride...

Lol, I have a small a$$ Rick :D But yes, definitely. Great bike, so comfortable but still quick.

Mine gets used for everything, TT's, Club rides, commuting (Occasionally) whatever. It's not quite how it left the factory though...

The only thing that I'd want instead is the new Madone (Also with Isospeed decoupler) but they are serious money.

The Boone is also supposed to be great and features the same system.

That's nice, needs two things doing to it though. White cable grommets, sort out the front skewer (OCD mode)

    Absolutely.

Also, looks like the rear is for a German Champ with British Champ bar tape.

Looks really good - especially with those deep HED rims. I might have a chance at a decent ride on a Boone - will give it a go

Thanks, I'd love a Boone but compared to the Domane it's much more expensive for the same spec, apart from the disks I'm not sure why

What sort of tyre can you fit on the Domane? I like to be able to chop and change width-wise. I don't go below Durano Plus 25c - but I will sometimes want to put on as much as the forks can manage because my favourite ride is early morning up the canal bank to Ware. I think this might a reason some folks might opt for the Boone even if they are not cyclo-crossers - it is the reason I might.

My tyres come up at 27mm with the wide HED rims, I reckon it would go bigger. If you weant it for bridalway bashing get a boone though and some fatter rubber, something like this: https://www.raceviewcycles.com/Vittoria ... rrency=GBP
