    That was a terrible crash, worrying they've not cut back to him, or no up date on race radio.

    Hopefully Barguill is removed from the race tonight. That was an appalling move.

    Thomas crashes
    Unwittingly pushed on the roadside by Warren Barguil, Geraint Thomas crashed in spectacular fashion in a turn but is back on his bike.

    Seems to have given up they way he was descending sitting up on the tops. Perhaps saving it for a long range attack in the alps.

    It was a stupid move, obviously not concentrating or pushing too hard and thinking he can take some riders on the inside. Foolish move, ITV commentators talking about how Barguill has been questioned about pushing too hard down hill.

    Any further news on G? That was a terrible shock, way beyond any way to control it.
    'Performance analysis and Froome not being clean was a media driven story. I haven’t heard one guy in the peloton say a negative thing about Froome, and I haven’t heard a single person in the peloton suggest Froome isn’t clean.' TSP

    Yes, but you can't start trying to throw people off the race for making a mistake on a descent - should Contador have been kicked out after nearly taking Froome down in 2013 for example?

    Poels collects G and brings him back to the finish. That crash in slow mo looked horrendous.
