Credit has to be given to BR today for not crashing (more people than Sunday) amongst all the forum talk of today's crashes.
+1. Fair play.
I don't think we should give it credit for working exactly as it's supposed to.
So you praise no rider as they are doing thier job?0 -
I'm a Bertie fan (not in a Frenchie way though), and he is in big trouble.
He was put under serious pressure by his own team on the way to and on the Mur.
I've never seen him grimace like that just to hang on to his teammates wheel.
Contador is very lucky he just lost 18 seconds to CF today.0 -

Fabian's back again
Bless him
Was he dropped?
google apostrophes, use of :P
So, I've done that, but I still don't know if you were you writing a shortened form of "Fabian is back again", or remarking on a repeat injury to the back of Fabian?0 -
the commentary has achieved un paralleled muppetry
It's bad when I don't know which channel this is referring to...0 -

Orica in serious TTT trouble.
The lose Gerrans, have Matthews unlikely to get through tomorrow and now Impey is confirmed as out with a BC.
I expect Prudhomme to neutralise the stage as a result................................"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Ouch... bad luck. This is going to be Giro 2014 all over again for them, just without the jersey wins at the start! They ended that GT with only 2 riders (including my man Tuft)0 -

Orica will embarrass some teams by beating them in the TTT with 6 men.0 -

Ahh i meant eurosport, I forgot the ITV pollute the race as well.0 -
While we're on commentary, I was listening to Phil and Paul today and thinking that Carlton isn't so bad after all.0

Speedy recovery to all those involved in those scenes today ^^^

Yes, bad crash, hope they have a quick recovery. No question, one of, if not the toughest sport. To get back on after that, then face another couple of weeks, mountains...0 -
This is like the crash in Metz back in 2013 that wiped out about 3 teams chances"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Pinot was only 11" behind the front group 2km from home. Came home +1'33". How?
Thomas is riding a great race. Hope he gets a chance tomorrow. But not as much as I'd like a Tony Martin yellow jersey. Classy interview post-stage....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -

I'd be amazed if GT gets a chance, will be 100% for Froome0 -
hopefully martin will take yellow tomorrow . don't think SKY would be too disappointed if they did . as long as froome dos`nt loose time to his main rivals0

Only Morabito working for him at that point - although Roy was there - when the front group accelerated it was all over - then he must have struggled on the climb . He's better in the high mountains - still seems inadequate in terms of critical positioning - although did much better at Romandie and Switzerland.
At his age (25) Froome was only mediocre in GT's but Contador did the Giro/Vuelta double
Got to remember he is still valid in the white jersey competition!0 -

ABANDON Fabian Cancellara. Broken vertebrae. #TDF
This was another moment where medical sense should ve prevailed
Edit-
Fabian cancellara @f_cancellara
Just left the hospital with a huge disappointment #TDF2015 is over broke some bones on my back again as in spring. #L3/L4right sideWe're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Feel sorry for canc. if he didn't have bad luck this year then he'd have no luck at all. Really wanted to see him rip it up tomorrow.
Quintana must have his head in his hands. 20 seconds down on froome after the tt and now he's 2 minutes down. I know there's a long way to go but making up 2 minutes is going to be hard. I think he could well be further back after the pave tomorrow. I hope he's got some good climbing legs, will make it a good race to watch in the mountains.***** Pro Tour Pundit Champion 2020, 2018, 2017 & 2011 *****0 -
TTT so late in the race not looking such a good idea right now.0
-
Another exciting stage. Strike 1 to Froome, not many people attack that far out on the Mur and hang on for 2nd.
That crash could have been even worse if it happened a few metres later and riders had hit that massive lighting column at full speed.
Good to see the forum schizophrenics in full flow though. Bemoaning the organisers for stopping the race then criticising riders for getting back into race mode as soon as they are allowed.0 -
This really could be the end of Cancellara's career.Correlation is not causation.0
