Nibali in the cars, so not that for back. Astana not dropping anybody back for him though"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

In the group
2 Tony Martin (Ger) Etixx - Quick-Step 0:00:05
3 Fabian Cancellara (Swi) Trek Factory Racing 0:00:06
4 Tom Dumoulin (Ned) Team Giant-Alpecin 0:00:08“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
I'd put money on it that this will either come back together or at least have a gap no bigger than 20seconds. Peloton is big enough now to chase effectively
The front group has two previous winners and the two best sprinters in the tour, all with team members. They'll stay away and keep the gap pretty large.
In fact, it's packed with quality all the way through, and pretty much everyone in it has a huge reason to ride.
Nah... it will come back. Too many favourites behind. Just watch.**************************************************

Astana still working on front with Nibali stuck amongst the team cars - WTF?0

Sky have done zero to help up front. Stannard should be rotating on the front 100%.Contador is the Greatest0

Why are BMC riding?
TJVG in the front group, gaining big time on NIbali and Quintana, and PInot and Peraud and Talansky"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Why are BMC riding?
For Teejay.
And now for the Brouwersdam.Correlation is not causation.0 -
No team mates dropping for Nibali, cars helping, nice to see some assistance from teams.
NIbali back at rear of group.0 -
Those transponder are like futile mudguards from a 99p shop.0

Quintana's going to look 250 by the end of today's stage.

Very surprised no Astanas dropped back for Nibbles, and a huge ride in the cars to get back on.0

Ettix don't need to keep riding hard, as long as there's a gap left at the end they've done their job. Think sky should sacrifice Stannard and Tinkoff a couple of their guys to keep that gap up."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0

Sky have done zero to help up front. Stannard should be rotating on the front 100%.
He's where he should be, looking after Froome. Other teams have more riders up there and want the stage win.0 -
That front group is splittable. I'd be keeping a close eye on Tony Martin.
Hmm - Martin goes into Yellow if the group stays ahead and stays together; he won't split it. However Fab Cancellara only needs one second over Tony Martin - he might be tempted
He also has Cav to think about....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -

They're obviously not helping because they've been told to look after Froome, whether it's rubbish or not. Stannard has just gone to the front now the weather is better.0 -
They were saving Stannard to drag them away further in the last 15 kms!0

Pozzato's on a nice little earner today, working for Astana"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
