QS blew that after all their hard work, Cav was left alone with 350 to go.

Canc 3rd, so he should take yellow

I think they're going to regret making naironman angry.

Cavendish sitting up may have cost Tony Martin Yellow.

Froome probably took a few seconds on Contador (hardly important in the grand scale of things)

Ettix made a mess of that, lost stage win and yellow jersey.

The trek is out of the bubble wrap.

Andre Greipel has won at least one stage of each of the last nine Grand Tours that he has started.

Spartacus in yellow. I'm glad he's got something from the season.

    MAHOOOOSIVE FAIL CAVENDISH

Nearly said, anyone but Greipel up thread so not happy he won.

    Shame Sagan didn't win that.

Canny Canc takes the yellow jersey, well done.

Absolutely stunning finish there on the bridge. Just about the redeeming feature.

I wonder if Sky's choice of climbing team will work against them in the coming days.

Boom didn't even make the split and I can't understand how Nibali was there then he wasn't. Why do Movistar have to get caught out at every split.

One thing is 100% sure here. Cavendish post race interview if he wins:

"The boys did an amazing job. I just had to finish it off for them after their work. I can't thank them enough."
Almost word-for-word the first thing to come out of Griepel's mouth actually!

If the forum want being such an arse, I'd like to quote your "triple win for eqs" post.

    You're a bigger jinx than me :D
