It is that one but in full yellow. Rated at 5 hours (still short of their 6 hours+ claim) but I can confirm that it is a step up from the Bastogne.
Thanks for that - so it should still be a very good pad, irrespective of whether it is or is not the same as in Rapha shorts - and I would imagine 5 hours is a minimum, or at least a safe bet, and would alter depending on the weight of the rider.
The longest I am likely to be out on a bike is probably in the region of 6-7 hours, so hopefully it will fulfill that role.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Ok so, the first ride in the LP's was meant to be a 60 this morning.
Weather was dry when I left, but according to the bbc there might be an hour of light rain and then that would be it.
6 miles in I get a rear puncture, and soon after it starts raining. Probably 2.5 of the 3.5 hours (I cut it down to a 50 post puncture) I was out was in fairly heavy rain - soaking wet shoes :-( Only went out in the shorts, short sleeve jersey and arm warmers.
Luckily it was still warm, and not too windy.
So a bit of a baptism of fire for the shorts, some pretty harsh conditions to handle.
So how did they fair - well off the bat they do feel very nice to put on, and to wear - the compression is definitely noticeable, but not uncomfortable, but once on the bike I didn't really notice it.
A 'trick' I came across a while back, is if you are shoe-horning yourself into snug shorts, roll the silicone grippers up so they are not touching the skin, once they are in the right position, and you have them on as far are you need, then roll the silicone grippers back down so they can do their job - does everyone do this and I was just late to the party?
I would say they are the most 'pro' feeling kit I have - he says, not knowing what pro kit feels like, but hopefully you get what I mean.
I didn't think 'wow' when I first sat on the saddle, but perhaps the best compliment I can pay them is that I didn't have any discomfort in my posterior (I use Fizik Arione CX saddles) and my gentleman bits were very comfy the whole way round - and for me I am fairly sure they would easily reach the 5 hours, and probably 6 hours without any issue.
The pad for me was very well placed - far enough back that when sat up on the tops there was still more than enough padding for my sit bones, but equally enough when I was down in the drops on on the hoods.
Are they better than my current best short the Etxeondo Orhi - probably a little bit, 10% better perhaps, but not a world apart for me.
Are they worth the full £84 - to me, probably yes. (I picked up the Orhi's for £70 each)
Are they worth the current £65 - definitely yes.
There is some loose thread at the top of one of the straps - will send them an e-mail to see what they say.
I only noticed it this morning just before the ride and had already cut the label off.
So overall, very impressed and pleased with the purchase - be it the same pad that Rapha use or not, I don't mind anymore, as the product justifies itself in terms of quality, feel and comfort.
I will stick with my second order for 2 more pairs - that should tell you how much I like them.
I just wish they did some black and yellow ones, I did ask the question, but no plans

I would be highly surprised if you are dissapointed, especially for £64 a pop.
As I suspect you are on a waiting list for new stock, you might want to drop them an e-mail to see if they agree with your sizing choice, they tend to be pretty quick to reply.

can you give me your view on the pad on the LP vs the Pactimo one please? I did the Velothon yesterday in my Pactimos and I would be amazed if there is a better pad out there. I'm ready to stand corrected though. I know you didn't get to ride in your Pactimos with the strap length issue so just perceived quality would be good!

I'm 32ish waist and 5'10"
From the LP site im somewhere between Small and Medium and wondering from what others have said so far if my height might put me at a small?

Hiya, yes as you correctly pointed out I never got to ride them, but am going on the impression out of the bag, and the feel of the pad, in my opinion they are on a par with each other.
Ideally it would be good to have first hand experience from someone who has ridden both, but as they are both comparatively little known makes I think that might be a very long wait.
Iirc the pactimo shorts set me back £91, where as these are around £65/£75, so arguably better value, but again that is only my opinion/perception.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

This is the measurement that's making me wonder a bit!
Measuring to the tan line, as per the LP instructions, im getting anywhere from 10 to 10.5" (depending on how far I cram the tape measure up my chuff).
Full inside leg measurement is 32.5"/about 83cm.0 -

Ha! No, that measurement is to the bib-elastic and what they reccomend. I sent them an email & they confirmed XL.

If it helps nail down the sizing of the LP classic shorts, I've recently got hold of some Sportful Bodyfit Classics in size Meduim. These fit perfectly i.e. slightly uncomfortable to stand up in but perfect on the bike.
I'm somewhere between Small and Medium on the LP sizing guides.0 -

I know Sportful and Castelli are the same manufacturer, and know that I fit into both small for Castelli and LP, so IF they are a similar cut and fit, then I would have thought that would put you at a medium.
They seem to come back with advice on sizing, I'd be inclined to drop them an e-mail.
Looking forward to getting out for a second ride in mine tomorrow afternoon, out for a 65.
Gutted couldn't wear them on Saturday as I didn't have any washed and ready to go - won't make that mistake again, both pairs not brought into service Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Thinking of getting a pair of these, though not sure between medium and large. I'm 5'11 with a 35" inside leg. The inseam measurement on their website (i.e. crotch to tan-line) comes out around 10", but not sure how accurate this is.
Can anyone advise on sizing? If it helps, I currently wear Endure FS260 Pro in a medium; these are a good fit bar the length, which would ideally be an inch or so longer.0 -

Has anyone who ordered a pair of the classic bib shorts after they went out of stock heard anything about getting them delivered yet?
Nope, ordered mine around 3 weeks ago. According to the website (and FB) all styles were back in stock over a week ago.0 -
I've not received mine yet either. Ordered on the 29th.
I contacted them last week prior to the stuff coming back into stock and they said dispatch should be the 10th.
I chased again on Thursday but they haven't got back to me. I'm sure they will turn up0 -
