Yeah worth a scan. Another example of the Wiggins' attitude that I allude to often.

    I like this:
“He loves being the centre of attention, but he hates people chasing after him.”

    Proper ego and 'me' mentality.

I can understand why he doesn't want to be around all these journos (I have little respect for them) but there is no excuse for Wiggins being who he is and at the point in his road career that he is not to give them a little time from his today and answer questions properly.

Would be awful if he won this race.

Was going to post the same but then realised they were heading into first pave section so gave them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully they are not there continuously for the next 120Km.

    Morning!

God bless you jet lag. It's 4.06 am where I am. The kettle is on, I've got a stream and I'm on the look out for my men, Bodnar, Declerq, De Backer and Engoulvant.

    Let's cobble. :D

I'm actually with Wiggins on this.

He has no obligation to talk to the media and the print media offers nothing of value to the sponsor these days. Since 2012 half the questions asked to Sky and Wiggins have been about doping despite there not being an actual doping story. And now these journalists demand that he dances to their tune - "unaccetable" they cry. They should be required to go and cover football for a while to put their enormous sense of entitlement in check.

Yeah, they should let Sky do it. (It would be the right tactic IMO for Sky to hammer it on the front through to Arenberg)

Quickstep come to the front on the cobbled section and tuck in on the bits of road in between. Sky just stay on the front all the time. While Degenkolb gets an armchair ride.
