    Stannard couldn't hold Vanmarcke and Boonen easily closed the gap.

    Shame about the puncture.

    Sky nowhere except for Stannard. Jumbo weak except Vanmarcke and bmc nowhere.

    Vandenbergh is perfect for days like this. It doesn't matter if it's a 30mph headwind, he'll shelter you.

    The gap is closing. Are we sure the front four can stay away with 35k to go and only a 26" lead?

    Boonen on the Taainberg never gets tired. Just wonderful. Glad he is the one with the balls to make this race interesting.

    Shame Sep got some bad luck there again. Quick Step are just the best though.

    DOesnt look so bad down there - I was in a long sleeve jersey and Gilet for the first time this year so it's warming up!

    Front three, really - Stannard isn't going to work - but I suspect having them all from the same team has removed some of the usual tactical fears that cause riders in the break to start working against each other too early.
