Hatch is good I think.
20 minutes of Moore and Birnie is fine for me.0 -
I listened to Stage 3 followed by stage 4 tonight, and the lack of interviews was only noticeable in stage 4, as Hatch and Moore kept it going.
It's a shame, but I thin Friebe adds that comedy element that keeps the other two on their toes0 -
Any idea why Lionel calls it the "Telegraph Cycling Podcast" but all the jingles and Richard call it "the Cycling Podcast"?
Having Friebe makes all the difference, even if it means podcasting over dinner...0 -
Just released the latest one, Bradley Wiggins and TUE0

Not sure having all the listeners deliver recycled opinions was really any addition to the last one...0

I thin neither was Friebe...
D'ya think he'll be on it next year?0 -
He sounded a little bit peeved this week.
The listeners views were in the main laughable.
And naive.0 -

I hope so. It's definitely weaker when its just Moore and Birnie. The first few days of the Vuelta coverage when it was just Moore and Birnie chuntering to each other from the UK felt utterly pointless.0 -

Some folk charge £8 a month for that...0 -

Indeed. I listen to a podcast about pro cycling as I want to hear about it from people who know what they're talking about. If I wanted opinions from listeners I could go down the pub...0 -

Not me, they don't0 -

Are they still able to get away with that? Blimey.0 -
I know a few of you are listening to the Giro podcasts - anyone else think it's taken a step up for the Giro?
Don't know if it's the increase in sponsors (with Rapha, Eurosport and SIS all on now, plus Maserati for the Giro), or the fact that they seem to have clocked Friebe is essential for a good show, but it seems better produced with better contributions. Improves my drive to work in the morning no end...0 -

Probably right. Still been very good. I don't remember enjoying last years' Giro coverage as much though.0 -

Knocking that Top Gear-esque Ciro/Pozzato schoolboy humour on the head has helped immeasurably0 -
I've been enjoying it, yes. I think the three of them work really well together - but agree that when Friebe isn't there the show can feel a bit dull at times. I especially liked the Stephen Roche interview show - that was brilliant. It does help that Roche has kissed the blarney stone - I couldn't listen to him talk for hours.
The Giro music is going to be in my head again for months now!Fat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.

But that's just it, I think they've had a much better range of guests so they've not been relying on Ciro so much.
Also I think Friebe just has better cycling contacts in general - the bit for yesterday's stage with Cav for example.0 -
Ciro is a parody of himself nowadays.
Glad its not all about him this year.0 -
Missing Friebe, the French chap is quite good but not quite the same.0

Is that the Armstrong I think it is? What's it called?0
