PK is getting caught by a group of 3(?) including Thomas and Bauer.

    Thwaites is the 3rd apparently.

Of course PK is off the back, he knew he'd stuffed it, should never have gone so early but at least he got loads of camera time.

Thwaites is a very fast finisher. Could be interesting between him and G....Bauer looks the strongest of the 3 but will need to go alone before the sprint.

3 riding together, a medal each, every reason to work together like this.

If Ewan makes it across he will be hard to beat. Lots of missed bottles and feeds, looks pretty desperate out there.

Rode by the course early this morning.....Typical scottish cycling that course is a joke. it's dangerous as well and to cap it off it's P***ing it down. A giant kermesse not a proper road race. This circuit was for the city fathers in the city chambers.

Almost 90s gap now, Ewan looks like he's knocked it off but hasn't been caught by anyone else yet
