Nobody really willing to work on the front at the moment, Kennaugh is pulling out a little more time (1:30 latest gap)

On a wet day Buchanan St is like an ice rink so that corner will be treacherous. Even in a straight line it's squirrelly.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

Yeah, although it looked like he crashed approaching the corner, before he got onto the paving stones

Time check once a lap on the finish line? Sounds like Boardman is not getting any better info than we are, hope the riders are.

    Enjoying Boardman's commentary btw.

I think they're getting an intermediate one as well but he's been complaining about it not being accurate.

    G back in the bunch.

    1:50 for Kennaugh

Bit of politics now from Crees, talking approvingly about Scots' right to roam.

Safe to say this "rubbing it in" cameraman is not making many friends with the riders who have abandoned

He got quite the glare from Dennis when he realised he was being filmed!

Quick word with the team car by PK. Where's the lip-read / imagined interpretation?

I'm not sure where they get the mechanics from but it must be frustrating going from Sky to that. I've seen a few Welsh mechanicals too - the guy at the start today and wasn't there a Welsh TTer who stopped right after the start ramp?
I'm left handed, if that matters.

If he could have slammed that tent flap behind him he would have!

Yates bros not riding. Hopefully because they are in favour of a Republic.

Or maybe because they rode San Sebastian yesterday.

    Dowsett and Fenn packed.

So you intimate it would be honourable to not ride it if you have that stance but you're quite happy watching it yourself? Solidarity brother, yeah.

Taking apart is a different sport altogether

What's his best time for a 50? Half the race to come. What a miserable day 10-15 finishers tops I reckon.

Just seen that Grant Ferguson is still in the bunch! Fair effort for a mtber! He's a seriously talented cyclist is that boy.
