Well, the break is still pottering. Each time slopes happen Pooley sets a reasonable pace. Roads getting wet now.0
-
Pooley going out in style. Archibald still fighting.0
-
Ok, that last slope which was slightly steeper saw Pooley climb it at the back. But then she attacks at the top tp try break things up. It strings out a bit with Armitstead 3rd in line. Then a few seconds sit up and everything settles again but at a slightly higher pace, more strung out.... but it's settle/attack for a few seconds, then repeat (by Eng and Oz)0
-
After all these half attacks still these 7 are together.
15km.
Raining hard. Hello Scotland.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Tipping down.0
-
Last lap 23.37. Pooley on the front. Been a bit disappointing last 15km.Contador is the Greatest0
-
Not raining everywhere, west end is still dry where I am0
-
Proper windscreen wiper rain now at the finishing straight as they go to that for one lap to go. Corners into finishing straight could present problems at the end.... pace all settled again now, they will know what point of the course they might want to attack now after all these little experimental ones.0

TWH - any insider info on these boys?
They're all pretty much as you'd expect - lower level pros - top ten finish would be a great result.
Roger Aiken is an interesting one, amateur rider, totalling owns the local cyclo-cross scene had a great result in the RAS in 2013 (8th).
Shame Martyn Irvine isn't racing - don't know why not“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
Cagey stuff at the moment.0
-
Commuting pace through the wet pedestrianised slippy bits. Someone's stopped to pop into Boots.0
-
Zzzz
Going to be a bunch sprint at this rate.
11km
Come on Pooley!!!Contador is the Greatest0 -
Yep 11/12k to go and watching each other, pace only lifts when a slope happens. Rainheavy here.
Pooley tries again on this slope. Gaps this time, strings it out, probably just to use the legs up of the chasers.0 -
Pooley experimenting with her 'softening up' tactic as she has strung things enough manybe to try make this an attack that sticks. It's not 100% committed though it seems. 2 seconds.0
-
Elvin doing the chasing.
Podium to be Lizzie, Cromwell, Vil at this rate.
Archibald been off the back since Pooley attacked.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Come on Pooley, make this one yours please. Forget about Lizzie.Contador is the Greatest0

Armistead!0
-
Ok, on the steeper slope. Armitstead goes, pulls in and straight past Pooley. Rainbow in the background (real one, not world champ)0
-
Big ring climb from Lizzie....
Drops everyone, catches Pooley and flies past.
All with a rainbow in the background.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Lizzie committed now, about 6 seconds to Pooley and further 6 seconds back to others.0
-
Get the motos out now!0
-
