It's not, but we appear to be in the minority! The Tinkoff kit isn't great (IMO) to start with, but add the Nat champs colours, then the leaders jersey....and black shoes!0 -
When did we last see two different teams on identical bikes? It's it just in stealthy black 'cos its new?0
-
and black shoes!
Oi! Don't knock the black shoes... I just shelled out for a pair that are very similar... rest of it is hideous...0 -
The leaders jersey on its own looks decent, just needs to be paired with pair of black shorts0

Bit of Aussie 'style'

One can only assume that when you sign on to become a hipster, the hipster nazis come to your house and remove all your mirrors! That can be the only reasonable excuse anyone could have for getting caught in any of these get-ups.

And you see, I prefer this kit to the plain old stuff everyone seems to be wearing at the minute.Ben

Christ that is just nasty.
Come back Castorama, all is forgiven.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0 -

the front end of that looks awful"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

It looks marginally better with the stem slammed, but that's the problem with these new aero shaped spacers... they're bigger and more obvious than conventional spacers.
Also interesting is the hidded seat clamp.. similar-ish to the Specialized Tarmac.

The more I think about it, the less that bike makes any sense.0 -

OK, you've beaten me, what are the 5 differences?0 -
Ha!

Always surprised how wide short arses like him have their handlebars.
38 is most comfortable for me, and 41 feels a little wide (though my current Canyon has a 41 as I'm too cheap to replace it with a 38).

I've been rocking a 44 for exactly the same reason. It came with the bike and its a far nicer set than then 42s I have on my winter bike. Plus all the faffing with cables"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

I'm wondering where they've put the Campagnolo EPS V2 battery? Must be in the downtube because there can't be much space in that new seat tube - especially on a wee frame like his. Or is a V3 battery on the way...0

There won't be any room in the downtube.

Spare a thought for the 46ers amongst us...We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

More info on the new Venge.... £10k for a bike that ugly?!? More like £11k when you add in all the extras they want you to have for the 5 minute advantage! How many seconds do these lace covers save?

I'm not sure I Iust after one but I have to say as a piece of engineering design it's a stunning bike!
Also looks better in white...0 -
Those Specialized lace ups look ace! It's not so much about winning, I just hate losing.0

I love the fact that all the cycling footwear manufacturers are reinventing the lace-up shoe0

They are pretty beautiful. Possibly even the nicest I've seen.Contador is the Greatest0
