Agreed, but I am suprised by the depth of carbon on the TT bike, which makes it look a bit more like the ones the triathlon folks use - bound to be legal though
The other thing which struck me was the front brake being so exposed. Again - I guess there must be a reason for it.0 -
is that not a p3? the 5 has faired in brakes i thought?0

Winner Ancona has a nice new shoe design for the Tour:

On the Tri version, not the UCI version. I think that's it.0 -
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. Contador in Black shoes with GREY socks ??????? From their ride around Utrecht ..I thought the fluo yellow socks of Katushaa were bad but this is hideous.0

The P5-6 has faired front brake and a deeper fork. Frame is the same otherwise. The P5-3 is the UCI-legal version.0 -

The front brake was developed specifically for this bike and is very aero (despite the way it looks). Many TT bikes have started rising the brakes more though. The more hidden they are can sometimes mean a reduction in braking performance though.
As for the tubing - everything has to conform to the 3:1 rule, except where tubes join together - where they can effectively become 6:1. Its a 'loophole' in the rules that frame designers have been exploiting for a while.0 -

Thanks for letting me know (& btw, congrats on reaching that funding goal!).0 -

The decals on the wheels... so tasteless.

I thought Mark Cavendish would go 172.5, even considering his height.

Abramovich riding around Scotland. Camper for the bikes-
He could buy some kit! or a team?0 -

Or a razor for those hairy legs :-)
Ha, I would have thought one of his flunkies would cover that.0 -

To be fair, pretty much every TT bike has a Garmin or SRM mount out front like that. All riders take the same aero 'hit' for it.0 -
WHy's he got the SRM speed sensor and no SRM on the bike?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

I can only think its a generic post so the two holes can be used to fix the saddle with more range, notices the holes multiple grip points. Perhaps a cap is covers it.
No, that makes no sense far too forward, not aero either...ummm.....0 -

The one behind has it too, looks more like it on that one, more laid-back though.0 -

Trek presenting the Madone 9...with a light attached
Theres a full review here. The attention to detail on this bike in the close up photographs is amazing. Theres no danger of breaking rule #25 with this bike. I'm not sure how you'll get a good bike fit with that stem though?
