I dont mind the top that much, the socks though are just awful!0

Saxo tried to camouflage their involvement in any suggestions of a laundry fiasco....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0

I think it's the shorts that look weird. Obviously they should be black - and I could cope with sidepanels, but that crotch outline thing just looks odd.I'm left handed, if that matters.0

Wow, it just gets worse. Sort it out Tinkoff, you are making the man look bad.
Completely off topic but what's the relevance of the KLM 747 on your avatar?0 -

@friebos not sure I could handle them grey socks moral[e] would be at an all time low for 3 weeks with just that.
In fairness Bertie looks really pissed off too. Absolutely horrific. Its like a school boy in a short pants with his grey socks and black school shoes**************************************************

"Structural Battery".
Torches, drones and an electric Le Mans racing car are all test-beds for a new kind of "structural battery", BAE Systems has said. The batteries use carbon fibre and can form part of the body of a device. By effectively building the power source into the fabric of an object they can save weight. BAE is testing the technology in the Lola-Drayson B12/69EV, which aims to become the world's fastest electric car. The firm said it hoped the battery material will eventually be as easy to work with as existing carbon fibre.

But what's the Cannondale that's in the back of two shots? Appears to be a CX bike with discs, a lefty and Hollowgram cranks. Interesting.
A bit like this? looks cool
Looks like its set for an Autumn release: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ev-iuSKRNk8
I wonder if a lefty fork is more aero than a normal shaped fork?0 -
Chris Boardman thought one fork was pretty aero - mind you it was '92 and he laughs about some of the stuff they did now.I'm left handed, if that matters.0

Warming to a pair of Radar Evs.
Had a good look at them on Monday in the Oakley shop in London. They do look great and fit is also very good. Well, it worked well for me. Shame I've just got a pair of Jawbreakers. 8)0 -

The problem with grey socks... is that they just look like dirty white socks...0 -

Its impressive how little cable is showing on that new aero madone - I wonder if they will manage the same with the cheaper models that will inevitably follow?0

A few shots emerging of the CAAD12 (apparently they're missing out 11). Looks pretty much exactly how you'd expect. BB30A, internal routing, slight narrowing of tube shapes, synapse style flattened chainstays and a new slimmer fork. No word on weight yet, but probably around the same.0
