I'm guessing there's some link between that team and Planet X as they were on Guerciottis this season. Also the Cristina Watches team is folding I think. Would be nice to see Viners in the black / white / orange colourscheme they had before they went under. Not so keen on the red / fluoro yellow ones!

Lowering the weight limit just in time for the arrival of disc brakes should be interesting! They stop well and will help with aerodynamics potentially as rim shape will no longer be goverened by the need for a braking service but at them moment it's not likely they will weigh less than a caliper brake.

There's nothing particularly special about that Rose frame. It's the other components that make it light. Looks like mostly AX Lightness stuff. Strap the same components on a Spesh, Cervelo, Trek, or any host of sub-1000g frames and you'll end up with the same result.

Looking at over £8,000 I would say with all those parts though. Over £4000 just for the AX Lightness stuff! (Mostly the wheels).

If I had the cash, I'd love to buy some AX Lightness stuff though. It's amazing.

I fairness, they are claiming 800g for the frame and I doubt very much you'd get any of the names you mention for the price/weight of the ROSE.
