Shameful I hope they and their teams get fined.

@PelotonWatch: Boom rejoins leaders. 5 leaders again - King, Haga, Van Avermaet, Boom & Bolivar. Peloton 45" behind with Cannondale working at the front. OPQS working for Cav behind that peloton at 1'. Still 35km to go. Interesting set up given the parcours. It is a fast run in to Pasadena & the finish and Cannondale are getting no help with their chase.

Break probably doomed. The real race is team Sagan vs team Cav + team Degenkolb. But Trek with van Poppel are lurking to make the most of this battle.

Cannondale are really desperate for a stage win here. Shame we have no time gap for the Belkin, OPQS, Giant chasers to the Peloton. We're down to 17km to go.

    Lord only knows.

It will be highly amusing if Sagan fails to get this. More so if it is Cav who nicks it.

Pasadena does look like a nice-ish place, I'm sure I recognise that bridge from Lethal Weapon...

Still a chance for King and Birthday boy GVA?

Edit - Bad news is other teams in the peloton are starting to help.

We may never know who wins. More pixelation than a documentary at an SAS convention.

It is shocking quality, but at least it is free.

Good show for the yanks this circuit, should be an exciting finish.

Actually, is Cav off the back?

    If so, when and how?

Def not a Cav day looking at the last shot. Not sure why Sky give a monkeys about this stage, maybe just to keep Brad out of trouble.

It shows how big the Fox sponsorship is for Sky, all the Fox banners are the "Sky Blue"

Angeles Forest and Angeles Crest earlier in the stage. No idea why they haven't shown us the splits :? Feel sorry for Stephens and Smith at times they are doing a good job here with a bad lot.

I feel for him, clearly not great English else he would have realised you would think. I wondered why he broke so early.

I love it when that happens. My favourite thing in cycling. And he really went for the celebrations in a big way.
