That's a serious granny gear that one.

Given the terrain, i'm not surprised.

    Where's the bridge Rollemynot?

This calm weather is due to stay for a wee bit longer up here, so I've taken Wed/Thu off. I reckon I'll strike out for an extended Tay Loop on the Wed. Dundee, zigzag along the Carse ridge, Perth, Bridge of Earn, Auchtermuchty and then along the other side of the Tay to Newport and home. Might head out Glen Clova way on Wed.

Just before the beech hedges where the Isla and Tay meet up.

I’m out Wednesday looks a cracker from a weather perspective ... Perth to Dunkeld via Sma Glen and back over the Tay at Murthly home via Stanley/Luncarty

Ah, of course. Did you go up Glen Quaich? Long time since I've been around there by bike

Way too early in the season for me... back down the hill to Dunkeld, follow the Tay South to Murthly then back to Perth...

Admittedly not as impressive scenery as some of the posts above, but a glimpse of todays "gravel" ride around Avebury. The 38mm TCS Gravel King SK's did well, but really keen to try the extra cushioning of 650b x 47mm tubeless...

With only two more Tay bridges to tick off - a fantastic and Sunny run to Dundee to cross the Tay at its widest point... only one more to go at the narrowest point.

Snapped this shot of Buttermere Lake from my bike whilst riding the Fred Whitton. That counts right?

I wasn't going to dismount my bike to pose it, I had a sportive to race.

Also, it helps balance the many bike pics in here that aren't scenic.

Thats a great pic. Whats the bike and I love the Hunter S Thompson quote.
I was in the lakes last week high up near Coniston Old Man walking. I was full of admiration of the bloke on a mountain bike I had watched for some time approaching us, until I noticed it was an electric bike!
