The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

This was a 5 hour window of the week. That it was bliss just highlights what could have been. Here's the rest of the week.

Two mates just outside Terrington. We’ve spent the weekend in webboo’s neck of the woods, on 39/25 gearing.

I don’t live up that way any more. I’m back in the badlands of East Yorkshire.

No thanks. I do occasionally head up that way, been over to Egton Bridge from Pickering and back through Rosedale this year. If I ride from home it’s usually 100 miles plus, so I save those rides for special occasions. I usually need the 30 sprocket for Leavening Brow which is usually at 90+ miles on the way home.

    Which is Leavening Brow?

(it was the climb up the east side of Dalby Forest - through the old entrance and round the switchback - that had me questioning my life choices, btw)

Leavening Brow is the climb out of Leavening about 6 miles south of Malton. It’s on the Wolds and you end up at the top of Garrowby Hill.
Quite tough that climb in to Dalby, you just need it to be wet and covered in leaves and camper van that’s just come past you to then stall it’s engine.

I know which one you mean in Leavening. And is the wet/leaves/camper van speaking from experience!?

Yep, there’s nothing like a lung full of diesel fumes to aid your performance.
