climbing up from Beaufort towards Areches, over the Col du Pre and eventually onto the Cormet de Roselend. One of the most beautiful rides I have completed in the alps.

Taken today from the top of Combe Gibbet which borders, Berkshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire overlooking Oxfordshire in the distance.

There are some trees at least... at Ally Pally earlier today.

(blimey, this forum software massively compresses images)

    Forgot about this thread!
From mid-lockdown. How I miss these quiet roads. (And yes, compressed to death).

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

How did you travel there? Via another European country?

No, jealous as my holiday to Greece was cancelled and none on the horizon.

We’re off to Skiathos at the end of July. We’ve got a house there.

For the last 3 years we have gone for 6 weeks and flit between Skiathos and Parga.

Radio mast at Llyn Llech Owen

About a 6.5k, 250m climb between the two. I didn't really realise I'd set out to hit the lowest and highest points around until the mast came into view!

Cycled up the Breithorn again, 10 km of gravel and rock at 13%, topping out at over 2400m. Worth it for the view. Onone Pickenflick was great going up, but less fun coming down.

Something funky is going on with the way this image is showing up. On Instagram the same picture is pin sharp and detailed but it's all blurry and smudged here if I try and enlarge it beyond the postage stamp size it defaults to 🤔

Photo quality on this site is shocking and has been commented on before.
Probably for bandwidth/server space or some other techy reason.
