Okay, I know it's not a road bike, I left that one at home. The pic's not perfect, but I like it anyway. Look around my blog for a story behind it. :)

Take a photo, get home, realise two random people have walked into my picture :/

I'm not cycling all the way back for another photo :)

First rule for your pride and joy, never balance them precariously when it's windy.

Also someone had stole the fence where I was sat :)

Nice that pic looks like la grave on the way to Lauteret, I stayed at the foot of that view this year, couldn't stop looking at it.

First rule of carbon bikes, never balance them When it's windy :)

If that's the first rule of carbon bikes, then the first rule of photographing bikes in general should be don't take pictures using your phone as it just ain't a substitute for an even half decent compact camera (but, on that basis, most of the photos here on BR probably would never have been posted! Even after thinking about it, I'm still not sure whether that's a good or a bad thing!).

Second rule should be don't take pictures in the Land of The Giants!

On the plus side, looking at your shutterbox page, you have got some very nice cats there.

Having said all that about phone cameras, if Clovis's picture was taken on a phone, very good job and chapeau.

It is, yes. Did a great 100 miler with just short of 8k of climbing starting from Broughton-in-Furness. The farthest into the lakes I got was a lap round Coniston lake. The first 5miles was tough though :

I cycled passed the lake and through the Gorges Du Verdon a couple of years ago. Unfortunately there was low cloud and light rain, so thanks for showing me what I missed :)
