Dumoulin comes in first despite possibly going the long way round a roundabout close to the end.

Oh my, literally as soon as Big Tone crosses the top he goes into a super aero tuck...ballsy on a TT bike!

It already happened. 5mins into the coverage and he already mentioned Cunego's descending skills.
  • As expected Martin smashes everyone else so far.

    Gilbert 12th 2mins off Martin.

  • If Spilak can keep up that pace he might stand a shot at the podium, only 22 seconds back at the start of the day.

Then again Kwiatkowski is steaming along.

    Break up is awful.

Valverde is 41s down at intermediate. No info on Evans or Cunego.

Pinot finishes 6th, 1.25 off the pace of Martin.

  • Bertie 2nd fastest at the first split. We can call the #1 done and dusted.

Spanish TV don't want people to see how close the motorbikes are in front of Contador and Valverde.

At that split, Contador was 7secs off Tony's time. Dumoulin was 2secs faster than Martin on the 2nd half.
