Didn't Kittel chuck his bike because he went over a pothole and his handlebar broke? Which in turn caused him to hit the ground at about 30mph? I'd be a tad cross if that happened to me. I don't think it is the end of the world though...

Correct, the only people who'd care are so far up their own arris they can no longer enjoy anything ever...

They don't get any extra traffic though, they just have their bandwidth used to display their pictures on this forum...

To be fair, I've never seen FF try to pass the photos he posts off as his own. In fact, in many cases he credits the photographer / agency which I've seen very few others do when posting.

What happened to Cav today? Looks like his team mates didn't know either!

    Finish was made for Sagan.

Why? Too tough a finish for the pure sprinters

He was floating around near the back of the leadouts into the last few Ks, but it became obvious pretty quickly that it wasn't going to be a pure sprinter's stage. I think he was only trying to get in with the front pack had they stayed together. The OPQS action was for Kwiato. Kittel didn't even bother getting up near the front. Greipel did very well to stay in contention.

From what I have seen of Cav so far ,he does not look so good.

I don't think Sagan looks as sparkling as last year.

    Maybe it's early season blues.

To be honest I think if the GC Contenders had raced Paris - Nice we might have had some better action over the last few days.

Just wondering, not criticising. They said he was about twenty riders back but I couldn't see him, think they were getting confused with a netapp endura jersey. Both the jerseys have the same colour on the back.

Cav seems to have had more trouble than normal getting to the front this year but the team isn't geared exclusively to him as it was in many races last year. Hopefully he'll get back up there soon

I was finding it really hard to follow the riders at the end there - just a real cluster of blue and black. UCI should make some sort of rule that all teams have to have a different primary colour on their shirts!! (not serious suggestion. But it would help). Maybe my rider recognition will improve as the season goes on.

Was hoping for a Sagan/Gilbert face-off, but Phil G faded a little early. Sagan was pretty comfortable in the end - but was thinking that Clarke had been taking last second pinching types from Gerrans and Kwia is looking v good.

Lest we forget these are the type of finishes Sagan is good at, not flat sprints, alpine climbs or GC's that people tend to say he is special at...

I have never doubted Cav before , incredible sprinter, but he has achieved just about all he can on the road and I think his head is somewhere else and his best road days are now behind him. I hope he proves me wrong.

BMC still don't look like winners IMO.

Gilbert has not been good for a while and Thor looks like he has seen his best days. Mr P has not really delivered and with Ballan getting busted and my man Cadel trying to get back to winning form it's not been the best of times. Gilbert's form opens up a few questions has to how he was so Awesome and now just a also ran.
I doubt Sagan would have seen his wheel a few seasons ago.

You know those Rouler mugs with cartoons of old riders on you could put on a shelf but never really use? I kind of think that's what BMC is to Rihs...

So Cadel has won a race this year in fine style, ditto Phinney and Cummings too.

Not terrible at all. I reckon they'll have a better year with Peiper in charge.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

    Who wants a friendly wager?

I'll take Cav to better (or equal) Kittel and Greipel's combined stage win count at the 2014 TdF.

Me too. I'll be having a wager on Cav getting no more than 2 stage wins.
