Blood trickling down his legs...adrenaline must have been high after the crash and chase.

A nothing stage. A crash and a narrow road blocked.
Then some less than classy riding by Giant and a number of riders
out of the GC contention before the race has begun.
Lesson 1: On narrow roads, don't swan around at the rear.

Another skinsuit - looks like this is going to be the norm this year.

Don't see how they're much more of an advantage over a similarly tight aero jersey & shorts combo?

I doubt the onesie adds that much more value.

Bouhanni wore for sprints throughout last season - loves the skinsuit, does Nacer

    Farrar

Surely not? Farrar gets all upset at dangerous riding and tries to storm team buses!

Isn't Farrar supposed to be a Buddhist? If so he's about as good a Buddhist as he is a sprinter.

For we fans of BSE, les blancs are visible again today with Delaplace (IAM) in a 2 man break. Gap is 8'30" with 77km to go

Today's finishing circuit sounds a little tempting re crashes. Hope not though. Narrow roads...

...and crosswind action forecast for the final hour

He's having a good look at him in that pic. I may have been a bit premature - they all jumped to the right to get the inner line on the bend but Farrar did it to excess - sprinters only shake their heads when a major intrusion has occurred (apart from Italians :) )

Matt Goss is being discussed as a contender for this stage.

How long will Goss continue to be discussed as a contender?*

*He'll only go and win it now.

As long as you don't include the "H" word in his name he may be a contender. His demise seemed to coincide with the use of that.

Quick Step won't be chasing now.

    Or at least they shouldn't.

Who's in the break? It has a reasonable gap.

Matthew HARLEY Goss. He might win more if he used one.
