Nah, we're staying in the village and the cottage we're renting has off street parking so all the pubs and restaurants are walkable :) . Just need to find out which pubs will let us come in and eat with the hound in tow!

All the pubs except the Hoste will welcome the Dog. But the Hostes got plenty of seating out front and around the back. Victoria at Holkham is also good for alfresco dining with the dog. Crown and Globe in Wells are good and will let dogs in the bar but not the restaurant.

Personal favourite when we've got the dog is the garden at the Nelson in Burnham Thorpe.

Thanks mate, I'll check some of those out.

We've been to North Norfolk a few times before but usually stayed further East around Holt way, so need a few pointers for this trip.

That guy is also Mkhitaryan's agent and Ibrahimovic's too so I wonder what the full total of cash is that he has pocketed from Man U. this summer.

Didn't Man U sell him for £1m and now they have bought him back for £89m?

£1.5m I believe. He left because he felt Fergie wasn't giving him enough game time. I wonder what his view is on the matter.

A very big chunk out of the transfer budget?

Personally, I think Mourinho has peaked and needs a stint in the funny farm. The 'special one' looked like a complete tw@t last season and he lost a lot of credibility. Had he held his hands up and apologised to his players and everyone concerned, I think he would have gained the respect of the players, staff and fans and turned it around but chose not to and even turned on them.
We'll see that vulnerability if things at Man U don't go smoothly.

You'll be quoting me in 6 months :D

Well he's apparently already hung Schweinsteiger out to dry and his treatment of Mata looks blatently personal now. I mean all managers have the favourite players and others they'll never warm to but it doesn't mean they shouldn't still be treated in a professional manner. I think Mourinho's ego still struggles with the fact he never actually played the game himself to any standard of note.

Interesting theory. Is there some part of him that will eternally feel that he as he is the chosen one, he should have been manager of Barcelona?

I can't quite make my mind up on Manure tbh. Pogba is top notch and would improve any team, but I still think Maureen is a busted flush and a pretty toxic character. Adding these big egos to the dressing room could go either way. Only time will tell, I guess.

I think Spuds and The Scousers will be up there this season, so I'll stick my neck out with a top 4 of

    City
    Spuds
    Manure
    Scousers

Anyone else gonna venture a prediction..?

Surely Mourinho will do what he always does - short term success followed by everyone getting sick of him and performances going down after 2 years or so?

Everyone loves an optimist but come on.

The MU vessel is a big rusty ship that is going to be difficult to steer and change direction. I think Mourinho has underestimated the depth of the underlying culture and cracks.

How do you unstitch 27 years of fuggle? Who died BTW:

    1. Shity
    2. Manure
    3. Chelski
    4. Arsenal or Hotspuds
    5. Middlesbuggers, Arsenal or Hotspuds
    6. Scousers, Middlesbuggers. Arsenal or Hotspuds
    7. Leicester, Scousers, Middlesbuggers, Arsenal or Hotspuds
    8. Stoke 'em, Leicester, Scousers, Middlesbuggers, Arsenal or Hotspuds

    (I'm hedging my bets).

Pep vs Mourinho. Pep has the psychological upper hand.
