Given how terribly chelsea have been they are still only 10 points behind Man U. That's not out of the question for them to claw back. Not saying it will happen but if chelsea put a few back to back wins together you never knowThe above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

It won't be Ancelotti, that's for sure. He's going to Bayern.Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -

Professor Yaffel ? Sam the Eagle ? Looks like the Chelski lot are throwing all their toys out the pram again.
Amazes me how they spend so much time concerned with us, When truth is Stevo your just like Bagpuss your sending everyone to sleep!!!!!!!!!
How Chelski ladies doing this season by the Way? Must be nice to support a team with a 2 point lead at the top of the Prem.0 -

Meanwhile, the Premier League Champions get back to normal
You're spot on there, right back where they belong...
Apologies for not showing the top of the table but the Champions rightful position couldn't be viewedStatistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -
I have compared last years points at this point (pun intended) of the season with this season, it's..... errrrrr...... interesting? who knows, I was bored!
Team Last Season This Season Difference
Leicester City 14 40 26
Crystal Palace 17 31 14
Arsenal 33 42 9
West Bromwich Albion 18 26 8
Everton 21 27 6
Stoke City 26 29 3
Tottenham Hotspur 34 36 2
Liverpool 29 30 1
West Ham United 32 32 0
Manchester United 37 33 -4
Sunderland 20 15 -5
Manchester City 46 39 -7
Swansea City 29 19 -10
Newcastle United 27 17 -10
Southampton 36 24 -12
Aston Villa 22 8 -14
Chelsea 46 23 -23
Everyone is saying how good a job West Ham are doing yet they were doing just as well last season!
Spurs are meant to be having a good season but only 2 points better off
and of those likely to win (sorry Leicester!) only Arsenal are doing betterwww.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
Excellent work CB. Can we have an average of all the clubs in the top flight since, say... 1950?

I think Stevo gives away his glory hunting credentials when he says Chelsea winning is getting back to normal. Ask any (genuine) Chelsea fan and they'll tell you normal for the majority of the clubs existance was very average football indeed. The last 10yrs are a historical highlight. Unless of your course you've only been supporting them for that period, oh hang on....0

I heard on talksport last night (so it may well be untrue!) that if you took out all of Harry Kane's goals this season then Spurs would actually have the same points.
All the goals he scored for spurs were adding to leads they already had except one which earned them a draw and he scored one own goal that lost them a match.www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

That's garbage, just off the top of my head I recall he scored against Arsenal in a 1-1 draw0 -

To get all serious I have the say the bit about stripping out Harry Kane's goals is nonsense, suggesting that increasing the lead in a game doesn't matter. If you are under the cosh clinging on to a 1-0 lead then someone taking a chance in a counter-attack to make it 2-0 changes the dynamic of the match considerably, it releases the pressure and alters the way both teams play. Likewise going in 2-0 up at halftime rather than 1-0. Mind you, if the info is from Talksport then I'd expect them to be showing a lack of understanding for the game.0

Aah but... Verylonglegs could get from one end of the pitch to the other in less than 10 strides, not a lot of players can do that.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Today's "interesting" stats!
I looked at the table today (20 games played) and compared it to the table after 10 games. If you assume all teams carry on the form of the past 10 games to the end of the season the table will look like this:
Position Team Points
1 Arsenal 80
2 Leicester City 79
3 Tottenham Hotspur 72
4 Manchester City 71
5 Crystal Palace 61
6 Stoke City 61
7 Liverpool 60
8 Watford 59
9 Manchester United 57
10 West Ham United 54
11 Everton 53
12 Norwich City 49
13 West Bromwich Albion 48
14 Chelsea 45
15 Bournemouth 45
16 Southampton 43
17 Newcastle United 37
18 Sunderland 32
19 Swansea City 30
20 Aston Villa 15
Top 4 have a pretty big gap to 5th
Man United won't have to worry about Europa League!
Bottom 3 look pretty much doomed too!
Obviously this is all nonsense so don't go attacking my stats!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

I know it was just fun on your part, hence why I started with the bit about getting serious. My ire was mainly with Talksport as they spout that stuff knowning full well at lot of knuckle dragging fans really feed on it and take it seriously.0
