Next up: Manure and Chelski.
If Man U win, then LVG gets a bit more time to sink the club. If Chelski win, Man U drop down the division, maybe even below Watford, Chelski move up to a lofty 14th, 13th at best. A draw please.
God love you Stevo. Your a proper Oscar (Wilde) fan, " We may all be lying in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars " Just about were his last Penno Went0 -
Man United v Chelsea used to be one of the go to fixtures for TV companies and neutral fans but now it's just a turgid mid-table affair. How things have changed so suddenly.0

It will be the at the end of the MOTD schedule. Mind you, I cannot remember enjoying post match interviews and press conferences quite as much as the last few months. watching Mourinho come up with bullsh*t after bullsh*t until the bullsh*t tank ran dry and LVG squirming about like a 6 year old with an impending bout of Diarrhoea.
One long Christmas pantomime and the other half of the double act it still keeping the show going. Pure magic.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Now here's a tricky little moral conundrum. Which of these small, unfashionable losers to support? :?
A draw and a red card apiece would be the preferred outcome, but if pushed I would err on the side of a narrow Manure win, just to keep Cheatski where they belong and LVG in a job! :twisted:Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -

It would be great to see Chelski go down and Boro' to... stay where they are. I still don't understand why Man U are in the top half of the table and Chelski are in the bottom half when they are equally shyte.
I think it's high time I renamed this thread again. Any suggestions?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Stevo , You have no dog in this fight, Its like me posting in Crudders when I don't even have a MTB anymore, Why don't you feck arff , till next season and come back as the Boro fan you really are.
You can still follow the championship thread with your other team.0 -

Just like Jose mate, It would be dull without you around That miss from Matic, was nearly as good as Oscars penalty slip !!!!!!!!!!!0 -
The Matic miss was a real shocker at that level of the game, a seasoned pro acting like a Sunday league centre-half who bizzarely finds himself through on goal...panic and a wild hack at the ball. Overall the game itself wasn't as bad as I feared it might be for the casual viewer, despite finishing without a goal it had it's moments.
On a unrelated to football side note, Hiddink is a surely a multi-millionaire after his years in the game yet he wears glasses less stylish and cheaper looking than your average granny, does he not even have a woman in his life to advise him on such matters?0 -

Please Mr Wenger, get rid of Walcott.
Ozil and AOC were brilliant today. Ozil just looks at ease and in control everytime he gets the ball. AOC's work rate was excellent.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
I think I preferred this thread when all the gooners on here were slagging "Mr wenger" off on a weekly basis...
Here's hoping arsenal do their usual mid season nosedive and we can resume normal service shortly!Cannondale caad7 ultegra

Personally I thought it was better when all the JCL's still thought Jose was special .
I like Pochettino though. He's just incomprehensible enough to make the Lillywhites think that anything but Normal service will be resumed!!!!!!! Silly Boys0 -

Without a doubt. We really need a world class striker. The service from the likes of Ozil, Cazorla and Sanchez is simply brilliant. Even Shearer last night said that with that quality of service, Giroud should be scoring 25+ per season. Walcott had 4 clear chances and 2 half chances and didn't convert 1. If we had a world class striker up front, any defensive frailties would be insignificant. signing a good striker would put pressure on Giroud and Walcott and send a clear message to all the other teams.
I do not know why, every single season, we get better and better defensively as the season goes on and never seam to carry that momentum over into the next season. Despite that, we are 4th best defensively.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Who's available Pinno. The best clubs , have and will retain the best strikers!
Even if a Barcelona a Real Madrid or a Bayern release an out of favour striker, they ll be cup tied for the Champions League games ( or basically 2 legs against Barca before its not a problem) and as we can only buy in January , we have to buy with those games in mind as well as the rest of the Prem Campaign.
I would go big and try and get Lukaku from Everton, But the resolve they have shown in keeping Stones suggests that couldn't be achieved. More likely Berahino from the Baggies, but his attitude is a bit off.
The front 2 at Watford would be a good shout as well, and probably more likely to move ( its just down the road) , But to be fair! I d fancy notching a few goals with Ozil feeding me balls.
I d rather find cover for Coquelin! and after Wanyamah had Ozil in his pocket the other night , I d have another sniff there.
Defo looks like Debuchey is away, which is a shame , but symptomatic of how well Bellerin is playing, wont belong before Barca come knocking for another La Masia escapee we ve stolen.
Lukaku, £30 million, that would see us over the line.0 -
