Chelsea boys are a bit quiet at the moment. Watch Stevo come out at about 10.30pm armed with his handbag and a belly full of Dutch Courage
Do you think he'll mention the one and only ECL they managed to fluke?.
No but he will probably mention how Wenger never beat Moo in a league fixture. With the chance that Arsenal would have been favourites to win the fixture at the Emirates looming (24th Jan), I think that is why he left.
You're 1 point above the relegation zone, keep the racket down will ya?
This will never change:

It could soon be 2 points inside. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Can you imagine what the price was on morinho getting sacked before Christmas at the end of last season. Football is pure soap opera at times.
Morinho will be back at a big club sooner or later. His record over the last decade is rediculous and a bad few months isn't going to completely tarnish that. The fall has been incredible to see though!
I'd be really really surprised if pep even considered going to Chelsea. Doesn't fit his football ethos at all up til this point. Man city seems like a much better fit for me. In a lot of ways they've built around the barca model and have a lot less baggage than Chelsea.
Having said that can you imagine telling a city supporter 10 years ago that they'd be in a position to win the league and then immediately replace their manager?! Pure soap opera...Cannondale caad7 ultegra

Yea sorry. I meant it to read that it's a very strange situation to win the league, which city are favourites to do, and then replace your manager the same summer.Cannondale caad7 ultegra

Hiddink in as interim. Not bad considering what he managed in his last short stint in charge."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

But can it be replicated though? different time different place different mentality and different squad;
Still cheaper to get rid of one manager than 8 players"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Slim Pickens eh?

Someone's claim that they are the greatest English team is looking a bit shaky when they get beaten by a smutty acronym :P"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Looks like it was the dressing room fallout judging by the bounceback today. Maybe in that case Mourinho had to go. We'll soon be back to kicking wannabe arrises "I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Let's not say it's all sunshine and roses after one result - lets get on a decent run and see how it goes from there.
As for Manure - they really are, well, Manure. Van Gaal. Football genius.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

So as the three legged nags of Arsenal and City line up for the European trophy dodgers derby, what are the predictions for the result? :P"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

I don't think Hiddink's palmares is as good as LVG's and we know just how good LVG is, so with that in mind...
Good luck tonight mate. It will be a tight one. You score more but concede more and we score less but concede less.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
As it stands, I'd take a draw Pinno.
No excuses for City whatever happens. In the unfortunate absence of Kompany, I think Pellers has picked the best starting 11 available with the right formation TBF, so we'll see how it pans out.
May the best team win.Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -
Actually, scratch that comment about the right formation!
