Not much going for it. The town is turning into coffee shops and charity outlets. Was a thriving market town.

Redcar doesn't have the coffee shops and never was a thriving market town. The charity shops are quite handy for getting rid of stuff out of my folks house, mind. And the local tip.

I would take my crap to Middlesbrough to dump but I'd need one of those armoured buses like in 'Dawn of the Dead'.

Fly tipping is easier as it's safer and generally improves the local ambience.

    There are other channels.

Not feeling in holiday mood yet. Perhaps after a good night's sleep and once the van is packed and we're heading down the road...

    Evening fellow boring farts,

I have just knocked off doing stuff in the murky North East for today at least and now have curry, poppadoms and booze to work my way through.

Auctioneer told me what I expected, as in there's no lost da Vinci masterpieces in my folks stuff but most of it is auctionable rather than charity shoppable.

Lesson for the day is that headstones for graves are bloody expensive, especially ones that don't crumble in wet salty air. Ho hum.
