Getting rid of the last bit of whatever illness I acquired this week, that's my excuse for being in this Friday!

Coughing up chewing gum. That's not my excuse. OH at work. I just finished 2 weeks of hell mixed with a chest infection. Quiet week next week - just 2 days, yeeeha.

Does this mean that the daily thread on Friday has moved here as a permanent location?

Nah, I think the Thursday thread accidentally morphed into the Friday thread this week. Let's keep Friday as special - as in 'specially sad :)

You'd make a good minion, you at least know how to address me using my proper title.

Who ever heard of a junior executive?

Besides, at my age the senior bit kinda goes without saying :P

You're not a very good negotiator, that's a monumentally high 'cost per blow' ratio :P

I think that's less embarrassing than a TT convertible, but only just.

Matt, did you get a free set of curling tongs as an incentive to buy?

Now I thought that this would have been the sort of thing. The Abarth bit keeps the OH happy and the Cabriolet bit keeps matth happy and dries the coiffure out:
