It's a good job you're not posting that suggestion in Communting Chat.
He'd get a lot of support as that place had a fair few self righteous bicyclists who hate cars.

    unlike here?

if you joined the real dark side, not some poor adjective which means a lot of bike cleaning, you could probably earn a packet. Trouble is, i would probably want to shoot you (more than I do now).

62k miles, 2.0 bi turbo sportline, leather interior, LWB, rear bulkhead including soundproofing, factory Sportline (not added pack), auto, 184 BHP, FDSH, captains seats - 2 at the front (instead of 3) that swivel. Ideal for sorting out scrapping toots without getting out of the vehicle.

Dealer prices for this make and mileage are extortionate so I can't do a px on my merc. Will have to be a private sale. Have you got the book price for 2002 220cdi, 117k relatively clean?

Where's Seany boy the bloody square? I thought he was a free man? Do you think he's creeping around on some common looking for some action?

You'd think he would be on here now he isn't under the thumb for a bit.

Well, if I wasn't square, or under the thumb, I wouldn't be here on a Friday night either.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

And if you're under the thumb before you're even married...

I decided to give up trying to be hip on my 50th Birthday as I realised that no one was convinced, and embraced my ageing squareness.
I became under the thumb when I said "I do".
Under the thumb as in "anything for a quiet life" which most married men will relate to. I have a good wife who gives me free reign but I have learned to pick my battles for getting passes.

It means there is no hope for you when you're married. Your mates will never see you again.
