Yes that would have been a repeat. The elite men;s race for the minor placings was good. Could have been any 2 from 6. Nys shipped his chain whilst in 5th and pulled out with a lap to go.0 -

Last laps of the Koppenbergcross on now: http://services.vrt.be/videoplayer/1/if ... autoplay=1
Pauwels leading, Vantornhout and young Van Aert chasing, Nys just behind, but all pretty close together0 -
20 year old Van Aert wins! That was a good last lap. Worth watching.
Good future for the cross with Van der Poel and Van Aert0 -
Nys didn't looked too impressed....but a good race nonetheless. All Road/ Gravel: tbcWinter: tbcMTB: tbcRoad: tbc"Look at the time...." "he's fallen like an old lady on a cruise ship..."0

Controversial finish. Don't think Nys had the legs for the sprint but Van Aerts team mate should have pulled well out the way.***** Pro Tour Pundit Champion 2020, 2018, 2017 & 2011 *****0

Nys looking for excuses there I feel, showing himself a poor loser. Van Aert's team mate should have got out of the way, but in the end all he did was launch the sprint; I didn't see him obstructing Nys at all, as Nys claimed.0
-
Looked as though Nys knew he was gona lose the sprint so he backed out in order to have an excuse.0

Watching the Koppenberg and Zonhoven races most riders seem to be using canti brakes. Is this due to the conditions or are discs not the best option?1998 Kona Cindercone in singlespeed commute spec

Discs are heavier and most of the time cantis give enough stopping power. I personally have disks as I ride trails on my cross bike, they're definitely the future but I think the pros will wait until they're lighter (Or their sponsors make them!)0

As much as I like Sven he does seem like a very bad loser.0

Rapha supercross.

He rode the Elite race, as part of the Rouleur team, his first ever cross race, then did the novice race straight afterwards, just for fun.0 -
It does look like a good laugh, I'd like to race it one day0

Sven Nys all over the back pages here today because, apropos of nothing, he fired off a load of tweets to say he wasn't gay.
Slow news day."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Bit odd. How I would love it in this country if a cyclocross rider made the news!0

Yes all a bit Russian that. As for Nys's race he seems half a yard off the pace. Perhaps he is just making sure he peaks for the WC's?0
