    As this starts at 6:30, are there any "faces" with the stamina to potentially still be around later on? ... travelling from Bristol means I probably won't get there much before 8:30...

    I think most people are planning to get there a bit later (or at least that is the impression I got), so I should imagine plenty will still be around by 8.30pm.

    I have my work xmas do at some ranch style restaurant in Hoxton Square early this evening, but book me in for the 8:30pm slot.

    Yep...we have one person going for the hot wing challenge (1.35million chilli rating) and a few more going for the Devastator burger challenge. Forget nouveau cuisine, we are talking speed eating!

    Its going to be pretty busy there other than the tables out the back. The burners do keep it warm. Looks like that will be the only spot if we want to sit down together. The tables in the middle room have to be reserved.

    Burners it is then. I should get there for about 6:30ish. I'm wearing a blue and white chequered shirt with a brown jacket. (And of course a purple trilby with lights on) I will look out for Frenchies ski jacket :-)
