For sure, but let me put it this way.
Dish's mileage: 3,300km in 2015 - most of it around St Albans which isn't flat.
Rick's mileage: 2,300km, in 2015 - the majority of which is 10 km blasts in and out of the City, the rest being a couple club runs a month - but then I also weigh 55kg.
Frenchie's milege: ....? Unknown - enlighten us!
As a teenager (Junior racing) I recorded annual mileages of 10,700, 9,800 miles on club runs, riding to events and coast bashes.Organiser, National Championship 50 mile Time Trial 19720 -

Continuing the tradition...
The annual forum Christmas get together in Central London - some drinks, pro race chat, and general shenanigans... there are a few regulars but we're a friendly bunch and welcome all comers... if you're around pop by.
What dates work for people in December?

The invite is open to all...you don't have to be able to describe the last 1k of each of the spring classics from the last 10 years to attend. I've managed to bluff my way through a couple of these based on looking at cyclingnews.com for the week before.Half man, Half bike0 -

15th works for me.It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0

London's hostelries have gone Xmas crazy and I can't get a table booking without a deposit.
So Rick and I'll get down to the Phoenix on the corner of Throgmorton Street and Old Broad Street just before 6 to try to nab a table. Look out for Rick in a green cap...
To confirm:
Tuesday, 15 December, 1800 onwards at the Phoenix
All welcome...0 -
