    Circle/Hammersmith & city/metropolis line down to Barbican.

    5 min walk.

Apparently I've got to go for work drinks before my 8pm train so unfortunately I won't make it (I'm sure you're all gutted ;) ).

For anyone that hasn't been there before, follow the signs up to the entrance to museum of London. Then you can't miss it.

I booked a later train especially. Then my boss decided I had to go out and meet some people while I was down instead. Very inconsiderate.

That's literally 2 minutes from my office, never noticed it before.

Made my train with seconds to spare. Sorry to miss it - next time.

If anyone wants to go for Manchester drinks I would be keen! Problem with London is when I do go I usually have stuff organised.

I was true to my word. Made myself very friendly to an under passing cyclist this morning :)
  • See you next time BigMat.

Rick, did you do the personal space invading hug technique?

Not quite the full arm, just a gentle hand on the back.

A cyclist undertook you and you touched him/her?

The question is what is the appropriate action if you are sitting at some traffic lights waiting to turn left, and a cyclist comes along and parks themselves in the gutter.

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    I see.

FWIW The Dutch way would be to just cut them up...

Ok Folks, it's time to talk about London Christmas Drinks.

We haven't had a get together in a while... Here's a chance to have an end of season catch up and mull over the cycling state of affairs with a beer and pizza... everyone welcome!

It'll be a weekday evening in a central London (City) location.

Let me know who is interested and what dates might work in November/December.

Would rather not November. Either on honeymoon or paying it off.

Dec 1st I'm seeing Stewart Lee. 15th is Christmas Party (eugh - a bigger stamina test than any 100miler).

I have a little bean on the way imminently so Dec is probably better. Can't do 6th, 13th or 15th...and I'm wondering if that takes out the 14th too.

Christmas Party (eugh - a bigger stamina test than any 100miler).

I know that feeling - the Christmas party that is, less so the 100 miler.

Ah... was wondering when little bean was making an appearance! Fingers crossed...

    I can't do 8th or 16th.

    So options are 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 19, 20, 21, and then it stops being worth it...
