That record was set in a TT though

Froome on the podium so he's OK now. Phew.

He didn't have to ride 220km beforehand, it is what it is. Impressive and enjoyable to watch.

Not with 2 weeks of Tour and 220km on the day, I wouldn't.

Be more like 2:12 I think.

Being that it is Sky, I doubt it is just oxygen, marginal gains would mean it would be a mix of oxygen and other gasses to optimize recovery.

So he didn't have to ride 220km beforehand ;)

That was my point yeah. You'd expect today to be slower.

Kwiatkowski did brilliantly to limit his loss to 3'14. Talansky who dropped off at roughly the same time lost over 6 minutes.

He really is impressive. He can do everything. He's really handy in a sprint. He can climb, he can TT, he has lots of those very cute Young Rider stuffies.

Not really. They were obviously riding to move Quintana nearer the podium, re-gain the white jersey and for the stage win. 2 out of 3 isn't too bad.

They should have ridden like that yesterday, not today. Stupid.

Sad to see Froome has been taking tips from EBH on how to do a winning salute.

If they are going to contain doping allegations would you mind very much keeping them to the correct thread.

    Thanks.

Froome: we are at 2000m, I think I deserve a bit of oxygen after a stage like that. Quintana lost his legs in the last 2km, I did my race at the maximum to take as much advantage as possible, it is the biggest win of my life.

Lots of discussion of drug use on French TV.

I thought the record was 55 minutes something? These times are all clearly measured from different places.
