The bum chin is deceptive.0 -

Dan Martin not doing too well either. 50th at the second check.0

He is wearing the one made by Le Coq Sportif the "kit" sponsor
At least if it is its counteracted by the new bike not having that stupid 3d embossed lumpy drag inducing bunting on the downtube that the old Pinarello had0 -

By one second.0 -
Froome fastest by 1 sec.0

Froome fastest at the first split! :shock:Correlation is not causation.0

Froome better than Martin. Ridiculous.0

Or stage 9 - 27th at 3' 20"?
Don't be a pillock.
FYI, there are more races in the year than the TdF.
Like the ones where he was tt world champ, before he was at Sky. So his tting went backwards with sky.0 -
-
Contador (which is spanish for 'W@nker') down on the split a fair way, and Froome about the same as Martin at the split0
-
To be fair, Rogers is nothing like as fast as he was at Quick Step and T Mobile
For some reason."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
@gietvangent0 -
Contador @ 1:25 for the 2nd split."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Approximating to the reduction in consumption of PED's @ Sky perhaps...0 -
Froome 8s faster than Chava at first check. Chava faded to tune of 1:30 by finish....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0

The end headwind is making this interesting to watch0

Let's give High Road some credit."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
@gietvangent0 -
All the Saxo big boys close together at 2nd check.0

First half suits riders who are lighter. Second half really doesn't.
Gotcha... makes sense... purito lost a chunk in the latter two thirds, and Contador down a bunch now as well...0 -
Looking at the times it seems that wind must be playing a part between 1st and 2nd checks rather than between 2nd and 3rd - be amazed if Froome hasnt lost quite a bit to Martin in that second stretch.0

But Porte managed a negative split. Negative splits seem to be a Sky forté.Correlation is not causation.0 -

Come on now. Seriously. If he beats Martins time I want to see his power data.0 -

Fair point.
T-Mobile speaks for itself though...0 -
I'll stick my neck out and say none of the GC guys are getting close to Martin here."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
@gietvangent0 -
Someone should get on Froome`s radio and tell him to slow down.Contador is the Greatest0

Yes, and you implied that it was relevant to his Sky career. Then you got your arse handed to you.
