You'd think Evans would have a deeper Ozzie voice, wouldn't you?

    The bum chin is deceptive.
Perhaps he was teased about it as a teenager and this has fueled a need to win.

First half suits riders who are lighter. Second half really doesn't.

Dan Martin not doing too well either. 50th at the second check.

Is Froome wearing a Sky made skin suit or one provided by LCL?

He is wearing the one made by Le Coq Sportif the "kit" sponsor

At least if it is its counteracted by the new bike not having that stupid 3d embossed lumpy drag inducing bunting on the downtube that the old Pinarello had

    Froome's gone out too fast.

The final 3rd is into a massive headwind.

Rogers 13th @ 2.26. Not as fast as when with Sky.
Sorry, are you referring to stage 19 of the 2012 tour where he finished 53rd at 5' 55"?
    Or stage 9 - 27th at 3' 20"?

    Don't be a pillock.

FYI, there are more races in the year than the TdF.

Like the ones where he was tt world champ, before he was at Sky. So his tting went backwards with sky.

:) Contador (which is spanish for 'W@nker') down on the split a fair way, and Froome about the same as Martin at the split

To be fair, Rogers is nothing like as fast as he was at Quick Step and T Mobile

    For some reason.

Approximating to the reduction in consumption of PED's @ Sky perhaps...

Froome 8s faster than Chava at first check. Chava faded to tune of 1:30 by finish.

Let's give High Road some credit.

Gotcha... makes sense... purito lost a chunk in the latter two thirds, and Contador down a bunch now as well...

Looking at the times it seems that wind must be playing a part between 1st and 2nd checks rather than between 2nd and 3rd - be amazed if Froome hasnt lost quite a bit to Martin in that second stretch.

But Porte managed a negative split. Negative splits seem to be a Sky forté.

Come on now. Seriously. If he beats Martins time I want to see his power data.

    Fair point.

    T-Mobile speaks for itself though...

I'll stick my neck out and say none of the GC guys are getting close to Martin here.

Yes, and you implied that it was relevant to his Sky career. Then you got your arse handed to you. :)

    How's Contador's TTing these days?
    Trail fun - Transition Bandit
Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
    Allround - Cotic Solaris
