Thank you for the kind thought... but to me the polka dot jersey is above any one rider (and I can't decide whether I warm to M. Rolland yet, despite his fine Alpe d'Huez win in 2011).

Now that brings to mind another question (going wildly off-topic)... anyone know whether Lance still holds his Alpe corners (19 & 21 I believe)?

If they've been taken away beware of going straight on at those points

Bouhanni doing his best to climb off.
Meanwhile, Kirby thinks he's on the attack.

Ta. They are numbered in reverse, so 21 and 19 are in fact corner 1 and 3. Hopefully you won't be too cooked by then!! (Mind you the first km or so is one of the steepest sections.)

If you put those three names in the same tweet, that's Twitter speak for PROOF that he's a doper

Carlton still not seeming to understand that Argos-Shimano took the day off yesterday having realised that they couldn't win the stage, had no GC contender and didn't have anyone who was going to get into the yellow jersey even if they had won the TTT

Completely OT, but will have done Glandon, Telegrpah and Galibier by then as well! Come to think of it it might be dark by the time I get there.

Stunning scenery today. The race always makes me realise how little of France I've seen (mainly the ugly bit of north west France plus Brittany, Normandy and the Ardeche which I love) and that I should start going there regularly on holidays. Makes me wonder why so many of us Brits go further afield. Great scenery, good climate and easy to get to.

They should take them up that quarry to finish, sort of Strade Bianchi meets super steep Alpe D' Huez.

Haha! Sean just admitted that he missed an incident that just happened because he was reading the paper while Carlton warbled on about the Eifel Tower!

I agree, I particularly like the seat post/top tube interface area, very nicely designed.

Me too. I won't remember to check.

    I reckon they've removed him.

SK, dribbling despair at CK's increasingly surreal baby chat, "Ah. I didn't see it... just reading the paper." I don't think I can forgive Eurosport for this.

THe iron content in the soil is oxidised by the heat Carlton - basically it's rust

Wasn't watching, but rewound when CK went on about it. Fantastic elbow to the chops. We need more of this.

Sean been given a new headset as apparently he was having trouble with the old one. Sadly for him that annoying and constant noise in his ears is Carlton, and nothing to do with the headset!
