Laura Trott 2nd, Dani King 3rd. And Jo Rowsell comes in 4th to complete the Olympic Pursuit triumvirate.
Congrats, Lizzie. Pretty dominant finish by the sounds of it.0 -
Surely that would have made for good live television.0

No live streaming of the UK men's race? Behind the curve - where is Sky when you need them...

Coverage of the French race from 3:30 CET. Conditions here (about 100km to the East) are pretty dire. Wet and very windy.
Good to see Alex Blaine of Team Raleigh in the break. Last I heard these 11 had over 10 minutes on the peloton:
Vichot (FDJ), Bonnet (FDJ), Engoulvent (SOJ), Paiani (SOJ), Médérel (SOJ), Blain (Raliegh), Tulik (EUC), Séb.Chavanel (EUC), Dion (BSE), Chainel (ALM), Poulhies (COF)0 -
And in Spain, with 68 to go:
Ventoso y Erviti (Movistar Team), Astarloza (Euskaltel-Euskadi), Aramendia (Caja Rural-RGA), Darío Hernández (Burgos-BH)
4'20 to the peloton0 -
Yay Lizzie wins, and with hands off the handlebars crossing the line too0

No Ag2R? Looks good for Vichot?0 -
Yay for Lizzie.
Must say I am liking the Boels kit, it is getting a lot of airtime on the Belgian's women's race right now.Correlation is not causation.0 -
In the Belgian race a break with Serry, De Clerq, Devenyns, and .............. Tommeke. Almost 3 minute gap with 135 km to go0

The Danish stream has gotten better too.
I think the Netherlands will be the next stream to come online.0 -
In Spain, it looks like Erviti and Astarloza have 4'30 over the peloton, with 30k to go.0

who is chasing thatdown? Chavanel! All seem represented apart from Bretagne0 -
In Belgium after only 60 km already 50 riders abandoned. Must be a hard route after all0
-
Aferr one lap: Fenn and Stannard 20 seconds ahead of Bibby and Partridge, 40 seconds to the peloton.0
-
Lots of deep rims over in Denmark and looks like only a Saxo and a BMC rider in the picture - the rest being whatever teams - demonstrative of the lack of Danish talent in top flight cycling.Contador is the Greatest0

Dion is there for Bretagne but the balance isn't right. FDJ are too dominant. The others won't fully cooperate.
Plus there are a few decent sized lesser teams not represented like BigMat and La Pomme Marseille.0 -
