Coverage of the French race from 3:30 CET. Conditions here (about 100km to the East) are pretty dire. Wet and very windy.

Good to see Alex Blaine of Team Raleigh in the break. Last I heard these 11 had over 10 minutes on the peloton:

Vichot (FDJ), Bonnet (FDJ), Engoulvent (SOJ), Paiani (SOJ), Médérel (SOJ), Blain (Raliegh), Tulik (EUC), Séb.Chavanel (EUC), Dion (BSE), Chainel (ALM), Poulhies (COF)

No Ag2R? Looks good for Vichot?
Chainel there from AG2R. I'd be surprised if they stay away but stranger things have happened.

Gap down to 6:30 with 90km to go.

who is chasing thatdown? Chavanel! All seem represented apart from Bretagne

Dion is there for Bretagne but the balance isn't right. FDJ are too dominant. The others won't fully cooperate.

Plus there are a few decent sized lesser teams not represented like BigMat and La Pomme Marseille.

also who is going to wear it in the TouR! FdJ have got 19 riders! I suspect they want it to come back as they've got a lot of ammo including Denmare who would be a worthy wearer of the jersey

I think the Saxo rider in the break is Juul-Jensen and the BMC rider must be Lander. Would love to know the gap and distance to go.

Edit: Talking about the Danish race.

6k to go in Spain, looks like it's between Jesus Herrada and Madrazo (Movistar Team), Ion Izaguirre (Euskaltel-Euskadi), Arroyo (Caja Rural-RGA), Zaballa (Christina Watches) and Iturria (Euskadi Team)

In France the 11 leaders have 3.30 over a reduced peloton.

In Denmark we appear to have splits but I looked away and have no idea which group is where.

So can Swift and Kennaugh pull on the front of their group? Or is it up to Cav and Millar as Stannard is up the road?

In France AG2r are lining it out with many riders.

In Ned, Hooger tried to line it out ona climb then Terpstra came through and got a gap. A Blanco was the only one to follow but wont help him. I would love a non-Blanco to win.

It's interesting. It definitely looks like it's worked out nicely for the two OPQS guys, but keeping Stannard, Swift, Kennaugh, and Millar under control at the finish would be tough.

I wonder if both Sky and OPQS wouldn't be happy if the first 3 groups all join together.

Go Cav, Sky to get pounded.

UK behind the curve (Sky useless) so there is no coverage.

100% Millar would help Cavendish over any of the Sky riders. Proper racers from the continent.

Millar putting in the pulls. Just sit tight Cavendish.

Sky riders chasing down their teammate. Standard.
