Nasty little walled bridge on the run in, very narrow. Not a day to be caught behind, Bradley, crashes almost inevitable.

Seriously, with so many riders suffering colds and infections and the weather set to be shoot for days to come, you have to wonder how the race is going to be affected...

They said some nasty things to Sir Bradley of Wiggins, including presenting him with a pink bike with tassles on the handles, to help him descend like a girl

Very heavy, continuous rain, according to Dan Lloyd.

Could make things interesting on this mega descent.

Expect Bradders to lose 2 mins on Nibs...

Inner Ring (I think) posted a picture of a narrow bridge and then there's a S curve coming into the finish. How Cav wishes he still had Prince Harry to lead him out. Still fancy him for the win though

Daniel Lloyd ‏@daniellloyd1 3m Rain update! Officially never personally seen sustained rain like it. Will be epic if they race. TV pictures uncertain.

They got 270 of their 315 pts on stage 1, but the results don’t show any of their riders having been declassed. Maybe teams can get minus points in the fair-play classifiction if their team cars misbehave?

I’d like to know why David Millar and 5 others (incl. Pozzato and Agnoli) have got minus pts in the points classification. Millar got his on stage 4. Natural break at the wrong place?

Stage was almost cancelled due to bad weather.

Likely not to get many live pictures.

Race started late too due to a broken bus - so about 15mins behind schedule.

All I've seen on ES so far is a picture of some moody looking locals standing in the rain and now a "featurette" on the Poles...
