I was leaning towards brown but my ass can't put up with a charge spoon/knife I had one on my canyon nerve and have only just got the feeling back down there

Dont blame you. What do you do, sacrifice the comfort for looks or looks for comfort. Ive gone through tons of saddles and found that WTB is best for me.

It is all together now actually just waiting on my custom Spoon to turn up, hopefully in the next couple of days and then i shall get some pictures posted up. Ok took the plunge and ordered a new saddle from wiggle which arrived today.....

At £23 quid for a Bill Amberg leather yes leather saddle I thought it was worth a punt. It is quite retro looking and a lot more plusher than a spoon so hopefully my ass will not complain to much

Here's a couple with the new saddle fitted. I got out for a 10 mile jaunt today and I am pleased to report my ass likes it so far 8)

However I experienced a numb left hand (no rude comments on what to do with it :roll: ) after a couple of miles which I never had with the canyon.

so I am going to try and tweak the controls to see if that helps.If not I am considering a new bar with 50 mm rise (currently 30mm) as I cannot raise the stem any further with spacers due to not enough meat on the steerer.

So far I am favouring the answer pro taper but not sure if it is worth going for the carbon over AL. Any thoughts/alternative suggestions?

Totally agree never been a fan of vans slip ons the grips however are uber cool in gum. Think they are released early next month just in time for payday........

Always been a big fan of the renthal fat bar shame they don't do any more rise than 38mm and you are right on the colour. Mmm anyone want my gunmetal CB iodine 3's?...............

Love this! Just ordered some of those tyres, how do you find them? Most of my riding is local woods and some road riding to work with mixture of on and off road.

I haven't got enough time on them to give a full report so far I am pleased with how fast rolling they are and they give good grip in the dry. They remind me of a Gripier schwalbe RA RA.

have you had a look for a slightly higher rise stem fella?? if you cant get the bars it may be a good option??

I hadn't but I am running a 70mm superstar zephir stem with 5deg rise with quite a low stack height of 35mm. So I have find one with equivalent stack or have to reduce the spacer height. I had a quick look on CRC but could see anything.i like the 70mm hope FR stem with 25deg rise but it didn't list a stack height.So the question is would I get more rise with 25deg at the cost of spacer height if the stack is greater?
