duck tail (Cotic soul content)

After drooling over Mr lee's soul thread for long enough i made the trip to rainy hope to 18 bikes to make the final choice on colour. On seeing the 2013 duck egg blue in the flesh there was a clear winner well semi matt

Big thanks to Matt@ 18 bikes for dropping the build he was on to face my frame and fit my hope headset while i waited.

So i have most of the components for the build but i am a little short on free time so it is going to take a couple of weeks to complete.

so to get the ball rolling the mandatory kitchen shots while the missus was out.

Thank you on the wife's dodgy bathroom scales it came in at 29lbs which I think is down to the reverb, the bronsons and the pedals bumping it up but I am the wrong side of 85 kgs so need the exercise :?

Quick pic after getting out this weekend no real probs apart from a groaning BB (hope one ordered) and a loose pedal spindle bolt.

Loving being back on a hardtail and enjoying the steel experience The reverb is just an awesome bit of kit in my opinion and I am glad I made the plunge.

Here's the the pair mounted with the new rear floating rotor, still got the Hope BB to fit but unfortunately decorating duties keep getting in the way.
I am very pleased with how easily they sealed and blew up and I think the skinwalls go so so well with the skinny steel frame tubes,retro looks with the benefit of modern tech.
