    ^ this.....

also in the 2nd pic it looks like the helmet has had an impact / slid across the floor..... you should check the insides for damage and send back if needed......

    Thunderbirds

After this week i shall be free, and cracking on with the build. Should get alot of parts. Im on the hunt for some 2nd hand bombers or similar for the Chucker since im getting a bit of cash from work. Im eyeing a dirtjumper 3 fork on Pinkbike that i can go and collect but im not totally sure im gonna go for it. Ill see. Might even buy a 2nd hand DMR frame for £25 that i saw on there and save up a couple of weeks and get the fork for the Chucker. Ill just make the DMR a "rat bike" or save it and make that my next project.

Same as before really. No further changes to the Arrowhead, cant go offroad cause i have exams and stuff to study for, and i should be getting a shyte load of bits around the end of this month for the Chucker build. But I wont start a build thread on it until ive got all the parts cause its gonna be a boring thread if i start one now.

When you're descending your supposed to have your seat lowered aren't you? I actually go down some properly steep stuff on my rigid GT and i have never experienced any bollock injuries. It is surprisingly smooth (well, where i ride it anyway) the only worry i have is the front wheel getting caught in something and flipping me over the front of the bike. But i just extended my arms and put my weight over the rear of the bike to make this less likely. And i choose my lines carefully, generally aiming for the least bumpiest path. Then again with a rigid you don't have much choice but to do this anyway. Unless you want buggered wrists etc. Maybe if you play around with the PSI in your tyres a bit? If you run them a bit high (thought you might do, because you cycle on the road to the trail, and we all know how irritating how offroad tyres at 30 psi-ish are on the road) then you can lower them when you get to the trail to make it more "forgiving" over bumps and stuff.

never really pick my route much every I cycle seems to be bumpy.

sometimes its fine other times its not so gr8 most recently was going round a park I found full of stinging nettles, brambles that kind of crap when I found a perfect track only very small but it combined everything in a nice little area starting with a straight for speed build up a few small jumps a very small downhill section few tight turns and some small jumps over roots and branches and tree trunks followed by a nice longer right handed turn and long grass area perfect for stopping or crashing.

moving on jus as I tempted to jump the logs and the end landed fine but the back didn't take it so well and I got a saddle in groin had to sit down for good 30 mins with some cold water.

What 97th choice said. And you have problems with your seat post and seat dont you? Change the lot. Wouldnt cost much at all. Probably only about £30, and you can get a decent seat, seat post, and QR clamp.
