    My word.

Just because she's got a posh frock on, doesn't mean she's not pinched it. Look - the ramparts are horrified!

Anyway, I was checking out the bald looker in the background who was meant to be doing security for the van she's nicked it from...

Phinney's really Dutch and his trousers have just run in the wash. But the shoes? The shoes I have no explanation for.

(Secretly jealous that he has legs long enough that he can pull-off turned up pink denim, barsteward, my legs would look like two chipolatas in those.)

    Ok - prediction time.

I can say now that if Bigwig loses this gig - his undoing will be down to bonus seconds. Ie race finishes and he clocks second place, then it will be confirmed that removal of 'bonifications' would see him sink the pink.

However, as a huge fan I'm sure it won't come to that. At least I hope not!

    Go Brad!

You've heard of the phrase 'a red rag to bull'. Well that's a pink rag to a Sagan.

it just occurred to me that Bradley Wiggins is the current Tour de France champion, and one of the two favourites for the Giro.

    Oh my days.

How depressing that the Giro has peaked already.

What? A Giro mention on Radio 4's one o'clock news, the inaugural SK "making the calculation", and Neapolitan heli-porn, all before the creation of the spoiler thread. Have a word with yourselves.

So what happened with Pete Kennaugh's Giro (non) inclusion - was it simply that he wasn't "putting out the numbers"?

Working backstage at the Giro would be a really terrible job wouldn't it.

Anyone know what on earth is meant by 'Stage Greedy' on the Giro site?

When Sean said yesterday that Wiggins had fallen on his elbow I said 'no he's fallen on his ego!'

And why did Adam Hansen look like he was wearing galoshes or those clog things you can wear in the garden!

    As to today's stage ....c'mon Essex!! :)
