A handful of riders were out front but caught and now Frank, Mourey & Voeckler have 40" on Schleck, Roy and Vachon and 1'16" on the peloton

Schleck back with the peloton. Wish I had visuals - it sounds great and Voeckler is entertaining things.

Only 24 secs now. Voeckler is about 28 secs down on GC. The three at front aren't working super hard in these wet conditions. 17km to race.

    Voeckler is pissed.

Two Sky riders have pulled them back. Porte in third wheel.

Haha, I really like the French commentary. I have them on for GW.

On the final climb. Kiriyenka lining it out two BMC just behind for TJ.

    Riders dropping like flies.

Wonder if Froome is going to get jealous of Porte and do his whole fake-attack-and-sit-up thing?

    .

It is more relaxing than what I've seen of the anglo commentaries. They had Jaja on the phone earlier, he's just home from hospital and nearly died but for the intervention of a passer by and first aider.

Not good for Evans, especially after winning this last year. Wonder whether age is just catching up with him now?

Kiriyenka still on the front, still lined out, still smaller group. 10km.

Both commentators are surprised Kiri can do this - they need to watch more racing.

I hate they way Froome moves his head around when he's putting some effort in.

Kiriyenka is pulling more faces than TV tommy.

Tschopp first rider to try and break away. No reaction from anyone.

Commentators talking a lot about Sky's tactics.

Tschopp won the PN mountains classification.

12secs for him - dig deep.

Best win from him was 1st stage 20 of the Giro 10. Memorable because he was out front with Simoni and took the Cima Coppi when ppl thought he would let the rider get it in his last Giro.

Peraud only rider to go with him.

5km to race and now Froome has dropped both Peraud and Tschopp.
