Why do I hate decorating quite so much? I don't hate cycling, which is harder. Confused.

It lets you calculate how much you would have to pedal to keep the 'lights on' when they go off in 2016*.

    *According to the government.

    On that theme:
How many baked beans would you have to consume on a daily basis so that the methane you produce would offset your gas bill to the tune of 5%?

Because the tried-and-tested 2 prong approach has worked well for years, and I'm assuming the triangulation it provides allows an overall lighter weight.

    Making it to 2014.

The sump of an engine has the shape of a cuboid. Its dimensions are 40cm, 30cm and 25cm.
    a) How much oil does it contain when it is half full?
    b) What is the total surface area of the sump?
    c) What practical use does this information hold when I am not an engineer?

If it's winning the Olympics, it's a good thing. If it's sleeping with your wife's sister on the other hand, it's a good thing. Generally, it's a good thing.

How many sit-ups can you do? Now, I mean.
