What are those lugs behind the headtube? Is it an old delivery bike frame that should have a large frame mounted rack? I reckon you could fit a sidecar to that using those as the front mounts. Forks would need changing if you did as it would get a terrible speed wobble.0
-
The frame is actually a Pashley but farq knows what's happened to it since better days.
Those 'lugs' are the remnants of the old rod brakes.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Custojusto ad...vendo €650 bicicleta única (let's hope so!)
my isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
I particularly like the spray painted cassette. I'm sure that will last really well.I'm left handed, if that matters.0

Holy fook! What's that meant to be, a Lisbon cruiser?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

I've noticed the same thing on a few of the bikes above... How the hell would you steer them? *
The movement required at the grips would mean that even an orangutan would have to let go of one side.
(* okay you don't really steer a bike as such most of the time, I know the physics of how it works, but you have to for low speed manoeuvring and I can't see these heaps doing much else)
The older I get, the better I was.0 -
It also looks like the handle might have to pass through your body to do a slow 180.I'm left handed, if that matters.0

I seem to have a 'gift' for finding these....

The eBay description says...
"PRICE IS £100 cash or bank transfer no messing if you come and haggle or offer less by email I will ignore you sorry but it's cheap and I need it sold. These are advertised for a lot more £300+"
These are advertised.........! There's more of them? Argh!0 -
Maybe they are designed for people with seriously bad balance. Surprised there isn't a tongue in cheek drag style parachute sack strapped to the underside of the seat.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

People must be really desperate for the cash.
We really ought to be looking to see if this stuff actually sells, I can't imagine that it does. The honourable thing to do would be to chuck it in a skip.

Pinno, your comments do make me laugh!
This one's got the full on hard tail look, with stretched forks, chrome headlight and speedo, and even a peanut fuel tank!

If you put a v-twin in it, would that be doping?0 -
SME's pic from above......
Whilst there is no way that I would want such a thing, I can see that it is at least well made and there has been some design and work put into it. The usual is to bolt together a load of crap so that it looks like something they've seen in a picture (presumably a grainy, blow-up, from telephoto, in bad light), and slap the price on it which matches a "real one".
I've just had a look at that 'recumbant' above, and it's sold for £120.
I've got a sheds full of tat that i keep taking to the skip or leaving out for the scrappers, I'm doing it wrong.

Only if it was a 2 stroke.
I quite like that 'Chopper'.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0
